By George Bains

As the summer Mediterannean season heats up, there is an exciting new addition to the market as iconic Abeking & Rasmussen superyacht, AMARYLLIS, makes her way back to the region. Available for charter through Hill Robinson, this is one of the most complete superyachts for indulgent and adventurous escapes on the water.

After a long period based in the Bahamas, Amaryllis is once again ready to welcome guests aboard for scintillating charters in the Mediterranean. The 78-metre superyacht boasts an exceptional reputation as an ultimate charter yacht, providing guests with an opulent and meticulously designed platform to make the most of their experience at sea.

Managed by Central Agent Hill Robinson, Amaryllis will be based across France and Italy throughout the Mediterranean summer cruising season, with seasonal rates starting from €770,000 per week. For this, guests can unlock a superyacht that exudes sumptuous style and a jaw-dropping array of luxury amenities that tick every box to ensure unforgettable memories will be made.

A Masterpiece of Design

Amaryllis is as much a work of art as she is a superyacht, with her unique design inspired by the Belle Époque, Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods.

Built by renowned German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen, and featuring splendid interior décor by esteemed luxury studio Reymond Langton, it should be no surprise that this award-winning pairing has created a masterpiece with notable pedigree.

"Inspired by the Belle Époque, Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, 78.43-metre Amaryllis is a masterpiece of design. Every detail has been considered with meticulous care, and the result is a striking superyacht of superlative finesse and style,” comments Julie Bichon, Head of Charter Management at Hill Robinson.

Amaryllis accommodates 12 guests across six luxurious suites, comprised of three en suite doubles and a twin cabin on the lower deck, and a VIP suite on the main deck.

The main deck master stateroom enjoys a private owner’s deck and his-and-hers bathrooms, as well as an office and dressing room. Uninterrupted 180-degree panoramic views provide a breath-taking setting to enjoy from the master stateroom, while there is also direct access to an exclusive deck and sunbathing space.

Complementing the artistic interior style, Amaryllis is endowed with custom-made furniture pieces by award-winning design firm, Silverlining, further enhancing the quality artisanal craftsmanship of this superyacht.

A central glass elevator, encircled by a spiral staircase, provides guests with easy access from the lower deck to the bridge, while also being an exquisite design feature in its own right.

Luxury in Abundance

Amaryllis’ stunning design translates into a remarkable layout of indulgent and inviting social spaces, none more sophisticated than the upper deck piano lounge. The piano lounge is adjoined with a bar and formal dining room, creating an environment more reflective of a palace.

An expansive saloon on the main deck provides the perfect area to relax in comfort and spend quality time with friends and family. The bridge deck sky lounge serves as a more casual lounge space with a 103” Plasma television screen and direct access to a large alfresco dining area for 12.

For those eager to lap up the Mediterranean sun, Amaryllis boasts expansive exterior deck areas complete with exciting luxury and wellbeing amenities. Her large beach club arrangement to aft on the lower deck has a dedicated gym, equipped with all the latest machines and accessories, a spa with sauna, steam room, plunge pool, and a massage suite.

A 23-strong crew is on hand to cater for guests’ every need whilst, well-experienced in how to maximise the potential of the Mediterranean charter experience.

Ready for Adventure

While it would be hard to imagine ever wanting to part from opulence of this magnificent superyacht, Amaryllis is well suited to guests who want to get out and add some adventure into their Mediterranean itinerary.

Opening the stern door creates a spacious platform for waterside sunbathing, with direct access to and from the sea to feel immersed in the surrounding environment.

A stacked arsenal of tenders and toys then allows guests to take off for exhilarating experiences on the water. From the Master Craft waterski Tender to wakeboards and Yamaha jetskis, there is plenty for guests to get their fix of adrenaline while exploring the Med.

A 9.9m Ipanema custom wooden tender and 8.8m Pascoe Beachlander enhance the adventure by helping guests to reach quiet coves and beaches, where the crew can set up activities and lunches in idyllic settings.

Unique Itineraries

The Hill Robinson charter team is renowned for its experience and expertise and can recommend the best itineraries for its clients around the world.

One cruising itinerary that guests of Amaryllis could take advantage of is a sublime 8-day escapade through Corsica and Sardinia, with plenty of unique cultural, luxury and natural wonders along the way.

Starting from the striking medieval town of Bonifacio, this itinerary provides a great sample of how guests can fill their voyage with an eclectic mix of magical encounters and diverse scenery.

With Amaryllis serving as a world-class luxury platform to facilitate these adventures, this is an unmissable opportunity to revel in the summer of a lifetime.
