Amels 60 QU2 Delivered: Damen Yachting Sends Another Limited Edition to the Med
Damen Yachting has successfully delivered the latest Amels 60, QU2, following her completion and private naming ceremony at the Vlissingen City yard. The 60-metre superyacht, featuring custom interiors by Winch Design, has now departed for the northern Mediterranean ahead of a full charter season.
This delivery underscores the continued appeal of the Amels Limited Editions series, which combines a proven technical platform with significant owner customisation. QU2 exemplifies this approach, delivering a refined, charter-ready yacht that balances guest experience with operational efficiency.
The Amels 60 platform provides a solid foundation, with exterior design by Espen Øino defined by her distinctive lines and signature trapezoid windows. Onboard, generous deck spaces, a large swim platform, and a spacious beach club ensure a strong connection to the sea, while ample stowage for tenders and toys supports an active lifestyle. The yacht accommodates 12 guests and 12 crew plus captain across 853 gross tonnes.
Interior spaces by Winch Design offer a contemporary and refined aesthetic tailored to the owner’s vision, creating an elegant yet relaxed environment suited to both private cruising and charter operations. An advanced hybrid propulsion system further enhances comfort through reduced vibration and noise while delivering improved efficiency and range.

With her maiden voyage now underway, QU2 joins a growing fleet of Amels 60s demonstrating the series’ real-world performance and appeal. The delivery reinforces Damen Yachting’s position in the semi-custom market, where experienced owners seek the reliability of a series platform alongside individual style.
Looking ahead, the Amels Limited Editions pipeline remains strong, with further hulls in build and the brand’s Full Custom division continuing to deliver highly ambitious projects for clients seeking complete uniqueness.
