AMELS and Imperial Sign New 120m Project Signature

Dubbed Project Signature, the superyacht is on track for delivery in 2025. When she hits the water, Signature will be not only the largest AMELS built to date, but the largest superyacht to ever be built in the yachting hub of the Netherlands. 

The impressive project joins two other full custom projects on the order books at AMELS. Rose Damen, Managing Director of AMELS and Damen Yachting, comments:

Project Signature will honour what is now a long-standing collaboration between the Dutch yacht builders and global brokerage and management firm, Imperial, as the ninth superyacht to be built between these industry giants. Julia Stewart, Imperial Director, comments in a statement:

The exciting new projects also serves as a grandiose celebration of AMELS and Damen Yachting’s directional shift. Re-branding earlier this year as Damen Yachting, AMELS is now channelling its building prowess increasingly into full custom projects. Project Signature will be the second full custom project built between AMELS and designer Espen Øino and his team, following in the footsteps of the in-build 78m project. 

Espen Øino is of course well-versed in the field of 100m+ designs, having laid his expert hand to project such as Flying Fox, Dilbar, Amadea and Octopus to name just a few. He comments:
