Amels Launches 74m Limited Editions Project Shadow

The completion of the yacht build has been under the careful supervision of Moran Yacht & Ship’s new-build team who have been working in close collaboration with Project Shadow’s new owner. Tailored to the new owner’s personal requirements, the distinctive Ice Blue hull colour is just one of the results of this collaboration. 

The exterior of the 74m Amels 242 Limited Editions motor yacht is designed by Tim Heywood who is the ingenious brains behind the Amels 242’s elegant exterior lines. A timeless design from a renowned designer that encompasses the slim volume and equal proportions of the vessel whilst accentuating the long curve details of her bridge wing stations. 

The custom interiors of the yacht are from Winch Design. The dynamic and balanced spaces throughout Project Shadow are indicative of the London based design team who have developed an interior that epitomises style and luxury. 

Amenities of the superyacht includes a dedicated Owners Deck, featuring a foredeck jacuzzi and a helicopter deck with increased capacity. She also comes equipped with the latest clean emission power and propulsion package, meaning that she adheres to the Tier III restrictions set out by the International Maritime Organisation.

Since 2005, more than 40 yachts have been delivered from the Limited Editions range; Project Shadow is now the sixth unit to come from the Limited Editions Amels 242 74m design. The Limited Editions range of superyachts strikes the perfect balance between full custom and semi-custom as it offers a proven technical platform with custom interiors. This innovative business model, that includes maximum customisation with upfront investment in construction and engineering, reduces delivery time to as little as a few months.
