Amico Opens Waterfront Marina in Heart of Riviera

By Jenna Mehdi

Amico & Co. is known to most within the yachting industry as a major player in the refit sector. Now, the established yard is nearing completion on its own Waterfront Marina, whose gates are officially open for guests to dock and discover the delights of the Italian Riviera.

Located in the heart of the Italian Riviera in Genoa, Amico & Co. has benefited from its convenient location and wealth of expertise to become a leading figure in the superyacht refit and repair industry. Counting amongst its impressive portfolio of refit projects the 99m Feadship superyacht Madame Gu and 76m Amels superyacht Boadicea, it is fair to say Amico & Co. cherishes an in-depth understanding of Owner requirements when it comes to big yachts. Now, the Italian refit yard is looking to put that extensive experience and resource to use in its own Waterfront Marina; a full-service superyacht marina specifically catered for the larger yacht market.

Accommodating megayachts up to 110m in length, Waterfront Marina has a choice of 26 superyacht berths measuring 24m and over. Guests can benefit from a full range of services, including 1000 Ampere of shore power at every berth, fresh water, pump-out and Wi-Fi throughout the marina. But the real advantage of berthing here is its unique location. Relatively secluded considering its in-demand location, Waterfront Marina offers the perfect mooring spot for a Riviera cruise while enjoying total privacy and security. Better yet, the fully-fledged refit yard of Amico & Co. is just a stone’s throw away for maintenance works of all scopes and sizes.

Marina berthing and services at Waterfront Marina were completed in October 2020, and the marina is now fully operational and ready to welcome superyachts. Ongoing development includes the exclusive crew service areas and gym, which are due to be completed by the end of March 2021.
