ANTHOS: Revolutionising Yacht Conversions
At 150-metres and 10,630 gross tonnes, ANTHOS is a superyacht with an unexpected origin: a former commercial vessel, reborn through the combined vision of Oceanco and Italian studio Biferali Design. As the first in the Nacht series, she’s a bold statement in yacht conversion, less about excess, more about purpose, adaptability and strong architectural identity.
From the outside, ANTHOS retains the presence of her industrial past, but with refined, minimalist lines and a striking vertical profile. Central to her layout is a tri-deck owner’s tower, more retreat than residence, with sweeping views, 284 square-metres of living space, private lounges, offices, media room, and sun terraces totalling 135 square-metres. It’s a rare blend of height, privacy and space.
The foredeck, once purely functional, now holds a helideck, wind-sheltered courts, a raised pool, bar and lounging areas. Aft, a sculptural rotating awning shades a large terrace linked to a full-beam main lounge, flooded with light and made for everything from small gatherings to large events.
Inside, ANTHOS balances recreation and reflection. There’s a full-beam gym, climbing court, cinema, and a wellness area with sauna, hammam and treatment spaces. A double-height yoga and Pilates room offers calm away from activity. Many rooms are multi-functional.
Accommodation includes two loft-style duplex super-VIP suites, additional VIP and guest cabins, and child-friendly spaces with nanny connections. A crew of 54 is housed across 27 cabins, with a captain’s suite on the bridge.
One standout feature is the Sea Garden: a lush, open-air terrace that merges greenery with the seascape, expanding the on-board relationship to nature.
ANTHOS is not simply a yacht conversion; it is a statement about the evolving nature of luxury yacht ownership. In a world where sustainability, flexibility and individuality increasingly shape design, ANTHOS answers with confidence. She proves that a vessel can be repurposed without compromise, retaining its structural strength while gaining a new identity.
By turning a commercial platform into a bespoke experience, Oceanco and Biferali Design have expanded the conversation around what yachts can be, and who they’re built for. ANTHOS is not just a second life, but a better one.
