AVORA: A 65-Metre Bio-Fusion Concept by Alperen Aslan
AVORA is a 65-metre superyacht concept that reflects a careful balance between storytelling and practical design thinking. Created by Turkish yacht designer Alperen Aslan, the project has been developed alongside his work within a superyacht shipyard, grounding the concept in realistic layout planning and build awareness while allowing a strong design identity to take shape.
From the outset, AVORA has been guided by a clear philosophy described as ‘bio-fusion.’ This approach brings together symbolic references drawn from Ancient Egyptian civilisation with forms influenced by the language of space and future design. The result is a sculptural exterior defined by flowing lines, layered deck geometry and balanced proportions, giving the yacht a distinctive and controlled profile.
Material and surface choices reinforce this character. Matte anthracite and obsidian-grey finishes establish a calm, mineral palette, while brushed metallic accents and expansive glazing introduce contrast and light. Integrated LED lighting follows the yacht’s lines after dark, subtly emphasising form and proportion without overwhelming the overall design.
The general arrangement has been developed with onboard experience completely in mind. AVORA accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins within an 11.6-metre beam. The layout includes a full-beam Owner’s Suite with a private office, supported by VIP suites and guest cabins. Social life centres around a main saloon and dining area, complemented by an upper-deck saloon, private cinema, beach club and fully equipped gym, offering a varied sequence of spaces.
Crew operations have been carefully considered to support efficient service and clear circulation. Accommodation is provided for a captain, a first officer and seven double crew cabins, ensuring separation between guest and crew areas while maintaining smooth onboard flow.
Conceived as a ‘living design planet’, AVORA presents a concept where narrative, proportion and function are closely aligned. The project offers a clear insight into Alperen Aslan’s design approach, combining conceptual ambition with an understanding of how a modern superyacht is experienced, operated and ultimately built.
