Baglietto Introduces Two New Projects Penned by Francesco Paszkowski
Baglietto has unveiled two new product lines penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design: the XO and the FAST50. Both preserve the traditional stylings of the Italian yard, whilst featuring a plethora of innovations, making them both incredibly functional, yet highly luxurious.
In light of the Italian yard celebrating its 170th anniversary this year, Baglietto has unveiled two new products that are set to expand the product range of the brand: a 50m explorer and a 50m light alloy, fast displacement model.
Michele Deprati, CEO of Baglietto, commented: ‘These new lines are the highest expression of Baglietto's core mission: innovating while also preserving tradition. Both projects are extremely innovative and set up Baglietto for even more success. Indeed, each and every one of our products looks ahead at the future, often anticipating it, without ever losing sight of its DNA.’
Baglietto XO
XO is not just an explorer in the strict sense of the word; rather, this 50m yacht represents a new way of experiencing, observing and perceiving the horizon. She offers the opportunity for long range journeys combined with luxury: one stand-out feature being her extraordinary panoramic point. Located above the wheelhouse, it is a unique and exclusive space offering a spectacular view of the landscape. Highlighting the innovation behind XO’s design, this space is also able to transform into an entertainment area, all whilst offering a 360-degree view.
Perfectly contrasting the brand’s traditional stylistic features, Francesco Paszkowski Design’s sober, free-flowing lines lend themselves to an elegant style and beauty whilst still exuding a ‘work boat-look’ typical of Explorer vessels. Her hull has been engineered to undertake transatlantic crossings, with a sturdier and sharper bow to facilitate more effective crew action in extreme weather conditions.
XO features a range of environmentally friendly elements, such as solar panels on the roof and flybridge and the use of special paints, showcasing the shipyard’s focus on sustainability.
This line is incredibly flexible, with a range of possible configurations and a rich palette allowing for unparalleled colour customisation, allowing Owners’ personalities to shine through.
‘World-class cruising, reliability, and performance in the widest sense of the word have always been universally acknowledged strengths of our brand,’ commented Baglietto's Sales Manager Fabio Ermetto, ‘and this specific model, conceived to travel even the roughest seas, is the epitome of them all.’
FAST50
Baglietto’s FAST50 project is a light alloy fast displacement model with a LOA of 50m, powered by four MTU 2000M96L engines that can reach a maximum speed of 30 knots. She is the top of the range of the Italian yard’s FAST line penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design, confirming Baglietto’s leadership with highly customisable, fast superyachts.
She retains the family feeling of her predecessors, inspired by the sleek lines of Baglietto’s historical production, whilst also adding new and innovative design features. Her stern in particular showcases remarkable craftsmanship: developed on two levels, with the gunwale able to convert into a swimming platform, resulting in an aft area that is the ideal space to enjoy life in close proximity to the sea.
FAST50 is characterised by a smooth and seamless transition between the indoors and outdoors, made possible by the floor-to-ceiling windows. She boasts generous spaces, with a lounge area and a TV area, whilst the dining area is located in the sky lounge on the upper deck.
She features three full decks, embracing a ‘wide body’ concept in the master cabin, and expansive outdoor areas. Sun loungers and sofas furnish the stern area, completed by a jacuzzi at the bow to take in the stunning surroundings whilst enjoying the utmost privacy.
Fabio Ermetto, Sales Manager at Baglietto, commented: ‘The FAST50 line is reintroducing Baglietto to the segment of high-performing yachts. Top performances have always been part of our DNA, and the new top-of-the-range model reinterprets distinctive elements of our tradition to effectively respond to the current market demand. This means meeting the needs of clients who love top performances but do not want to renounce the comfort and luxury of a superyacht.’
The first hull of this line is currently under construction, scheduled for delivery in 2026.
