Benetti Launches 67m Custom Superyacht CALEX
Prolific Italian yacht builder Benetti has announced the launch of 67m custom superyacht M/Y CALEX, commissioned for a Californian owner. The steel and aluminium vessel sports a sleek exterior by Giorgio M. Cassetta with marble and wood interiors curated by Benetti’s in-house department.
One highlight of Benetti’s new launch is the dedicated owner’s deck, forward-facing and looking out onto a private exterior space with lounge area and fireplace, and completely sheltered from view of the upper decks.
Spread across five enclosed decks and one sun deck, the yacht’s perfectly balanced layout is a notable feature of her design. The latest technology has also been implemented to ensure minimal noise disruption and silent cruising at 12 knots.
CALEX’s foredeck can also be utilised as a touch-and-go helipad, with an al fresco dining and relaxation area in the stern.
Her ample entertaining spaces include a large main salon with table seating for 12, as well as accommodation for two VIP cabins and four guest cabins. Two toy garages host an enviable array of water toys and the main tender.
All five decks are accessible by CALEX’s lift, with exception of the sun deck which is home to gym equipment and its own Jacuzzi pool.
CALEX is Benetti’s first custom launch of 2022, and is on track for delivery this spring.
