Benetti Sells Second Unit of Montopanfilo 37M

Benetti has announced the sale of the second unit of the Montopanfilo 37M, with the deal brokered by Ocean Independence. The brand-new model will be built with fiberglass and composite material, and harnesses historical design features from Benetti’s past.

The second unit of Montopanfilo 37M has been sold to a German businessman, who is an experienced yacht owner and has fulfilled a dream of owning a Benetti yacht. Inspired by the Benetti “navette” from the ‘60s, Montopanfilo 37M reinterprets the iconic, glamorous features by incorporating them into a modern design, with elegant lines and amenities to meet the requirements of contemporary owners.

With a 297 gross tonnage, the superyacht is characterised by compact and clean volumes, with her external lines drawn by Francesco Struglia in collaboration with Benetti, and her interiors crafted by Lazzarini Pickering Architects.

There interiors are graced by a sophisticated palette based on shades of light wood, white and blue, immediately evoking a tradition of sailing. An innovative, seamless, bronze metallic painted ribbon defines the bulwark running from the main deck to the upper deck overhang, a nod to the historic wooden cap rail.

The Observation Deck, positioned above the hard top, is one of the definitive features of the Montopanfilo 37M and provides an intimate and sheltered living area with beautiful views at any time of day. The second unit will also feature a signature light to highlight her elegant profile at night, as well as a custom swimming pool.

The accommodation consists of an owner’s suite forward on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck, providing luxurious abodes for up to 10 guests.

Benetti Montopanfilo 37M will officially premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021 from September 7-12, where the Italian shipyard will be showcasing the first unit, due to be launched on July 28th.
