Benetti's 108m Giga Yacht IJE Will Headline Monaco Yacht Show 2021

By Jenna Mehdi

Benetti’s flagship giga yacht, 108m IJE, has today been confirmed to be headlining the Monaco Yacht Show this year. Exhibited by Benetti, IJE is the largest superyacht confirmed for the show so far, with just under two weeks to go.

At 108m in length, IJE is the largest superyacht exhibiting at the show, and the largest Benetti delivered to date. She is followed by 95m Kismet, built by Lurssen and exhibited by Moran Yacht & Ship.

IJE will be exhibited by Benetti Yachts, and is one of three yachts launched by the Italian shipbuilders during its ‘giga season’ in 2019. Commenting on the launch in 2019, then Group CEO Paolo Vitelli told Superyachts.com, "I feel very proud. The third launch in four months is something very few people have attested in their life... The boat is glamorous, and I think when she is in the hands of the owner and exhibited in some shows, the world will be shocked by the quality we have created."

Launched under hull number FB 275, IJE is easily one of the most iconic superyachts on the water in terms of size, stature and design. She sports a timeless exterior designed by British studio RWD, with interior styling by Benetti’s in-house department.

IJE accommodates some 22 guests onboard, as well as 29 crew members. She has a range of 6,500 nautical miles at cruising speed. Her ‘giga family’ consists of LANA and LUMINOSITY, both 107m, making her the largest Benetti ever launched by a small margin.

We look forward to bringing readers more updates on the exciting MYS superyacht lineup as they come in, as well as live updates from the docks of Port Hercules from the Superyachts.com interview studio.
