Bering 110 Marks a New Chapter for Bering Yachts

By Nora Hart

A new chapter begins for Bering Yachts as their European division confirms the contract for the first hull of the all-new Bering 110, a 33-metre explorer that promises to blend capability with the sophistication of a peak modern superyacht. Developed in collaboration with Red Yacht Design, the B110 is more than just another addition to Bering’s explorer line; it’s a statement of intent for a new generation of owners who want to roam far without sacrificing comfort.

Crafted with a full-displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the Bering 110 is built to go the distance. She’s powered by twin engines delivering a cruising speed of 10.5 knots and a top speed of 13 knots under half load, with a remarkable 5,000-nautical-mile range. Her 47,000-litre fuel capacity and 6,500 litres of fresh water ensure she can remain self-sufficient for up to four weeks at sea, an enticing prospect for those chasing adventure off the beaten path.

‘She’s perfect for extended passages or intimate family getaways,’ said Alexei Mikhailov, Founder of Bering Yachts. ‘She's built for adventurers who demand both freedom and luxury.’

At 299 gross tons, with an 8.2-metre beam and a 2.4-metre draft, the Bering 110 finds an elegant balance between power and poise. Her shallow draft allows access to bays and anchorages often reserved for smaller vessels, while her displacement hull ensures stability and fuel efficiency across seas.

Step inside, and the yacht reveals an intelligent use of space with a distinctive asymmetrical layout. The main salon forgoes the starboard side deck, gaining an extra metre in width and creating a warm, open-plan space that feels larger than her size suggests. The main deck hosts a forward galley and an inviting owner’s suite, while four guest cabins sit on the lower deck alongside crew quarters for five.

Outdoor living is prioritised. The flybridge is an entertainment hub complete with a Jacuzzi, bar, and adaptable seating. Below, the beach club brings a touch of spa-like indulgence, housing a gym, sauna, and lounge area illuminated by a skylight. The expansive aft cockpit invites long al fresco dinners and lively gatherings with seating for twelve and a full bar.

Compact yet capable, the Bering 110 captures the essence of the modern explorer: practical, refined, and confident. The signing of her first hull signals strong confidence in Bering’s approach to design, with yachts that don’t just look the part but live up to their promise when adventure calls.
