By Emily Dawkins

French yacht brokerage firm Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage (BGYB) is delighted to announce that it has opened new offices in the heart of the yachting industry hub of the Balearic Islands: Palma de Mallorca.

With offices all around the world, from Paris to Moscow to Hong Kong and Auckland, it is no surprise that the esteemed yacht brokerage firm BGYB has looked no further than the yachting hub of the Mediterranean to open its latest offices.

Located in Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca, BGYB’s new offices are situated in the renowned refit and repair shipyard, STP Palma Shipyard.

Offering services for yachts up to 120 metres in length and 1,000 tonnes in weight, STP Palma Shipyard is recognised to be Europe’s leading refit and repair yard thanks to its open management model, which is unique in the yacht building sector.

With many of its yachts regularly serviced by STP Palma, and several of its charter and brokerage central agency vessels located on the island, BGYB’s move to the STP facilities was a, ‘natural and long standing project.'

This new expansion to the Balearics ensures that BGYB can work closely with its clients and captains; furthering its personalised and constant support.

These new Palma offices will be the new home to three of BGYB’s experienced brokers: Youri Loof, Sales & Charter Broker; Romain Mouchel, Sales & Charter Broker; and Tatiana Fliegner, Charter Broker.

In its latest statement, BGYB commented: ‘We look foward to the opportunities that this presence will bring!’
