Blue Wake Momentum Builds Fast as Exhibitors Announced for MYS 2025

The Monaco Yacht Show has announced the first round of officially recognised Blue Wake exhibitors for its 2025 edition, marking a significant milestone in the programme’s rollout. A total of 17 companies have been validated under the initiative, developed in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation to spotlight proven environmental innovation in the yachting sector.

Launched earlier this year, the Blue Wake programme is designed to give visibility to exhibitors offering credible, high-performance solutions that contribute to the industry's environmental transition. The selection process is based on a rigorous vetting framework created by the Water Revolution Foundation, ensuring that each participant meets strict criteria across emissions reduction, material circularity, eco-design, or marine ecosystem protection.

'With the launch of Blue Wake, our aim is to bring visibility and clarity to the commitment of companies actively contributing to a more sustainable yachting industry,' said Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show. 'The enthusiastic response from exhibitors highlights a real need: to shine a light on solutions that are not only visionary, but already in place and ready to support the industry’s transformation.'

The first group of officially recognised exhibitors includes AkzoNobel, Ampros, ASEA Power Systems, Boero YachtCoatings, Cantieri Rossini, Comilegno, Deasyl, Headhunter Inc, Propulsion House, Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, Sanlorenzo, Silverlining Furniture, SKF, Sunreef Yachts, Tai Ping, Termodinamica and Xeamos. More names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with applications open until 31 July. Organisers report continued strong interest from across the sector, including naval architecture, marine equipment, refit and construction.

Robert van Tol, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation, commented: 'By publishing the first vetted solutions from exhibitors, we are guaranteeing that these solutions meet high standards of environmental performance, specifically for yachting. This work supports the industry’s shift towards more sustainable practices, but also proper validation of claims.'

The initiative, supported by Siemens Energy, is expected to become a permanent feature of the show’s landscape, helping both industry professionals and private clients identify proven sustainable alternatives at a glance.
