Burger Passes Construction Milestone on First Two 180’ Yachts

By George Bains

Burger Boat Company has passed a milestone in the construction of its first two 180’ superyachts, with the superstructure joined to the hulls on both vessels. The first hull already has an Owner in waiting, while there is an opportunity for prospective new owners to sign onto the second hull and add their own touches before delivery.

This year, Burger is celebrating its 160th Anniversary, boasting a proud history at the pinnacle of luxury yacht construction in America. The new 180’ superyachts are a fitting tribute to both pedigree of Burger and its continuing creativity in yacht design and build.

The 180’ models feature expansive interior and exterior spaces for its owner and guests to indulge in, while also benefitting from an advanced platform that enhances onboard comfort. Each yacht has also been designed with full handicapped accessibility, including a large elevator to provide all guests with easy access to the four decks.

The aft deck is the first greeting point for guests, leading directly into the Main Salon, Tender Bay, and also the Bridge Deck via a circular stairway.

The Main Salon provides an idyllic setting for formal entertaining and dining experiences, with large windows flooding the space with natural light.

The full beam Owner’s Suite forward on the Main Deck comes with an adjoining private Office. Up to ten guests can be accommodated across four staterooms on the Lower Deck, which each boast large windows to provide scenic views of the surroundings.

A large bar and entertainment area in the Skylounge is the perfect area for guest relaxation, opening up to the aft Bridge Deck to offer exceptional outdoor dining and entertainment. Forward on the Bridge Deck are the Pilothouse, Yacht’s Office, and Captain’s Stateroom.

The large Sundeck then provides ample opportunity for outdoor enjoyment. The Owner of the first Burger 180’ selected to install a custom centerline bar and a large pool accommodating 12. The Sundeck also offers a large space for fresh air workouts.

The Burger 180’ has been designed with entertainment, technological advances, reliability, and worldwide cruising for family and friends in mind.

An exciting development that adds further prestige to the Burger history, we look forward to following the construction of the first two Burger 180’ superyachts as they near launch and delivery.
