Burgess Builds Momentum with 15 Yacht Sales in 15 Weeks
For Burgess, 2026 has started at full throttle. The global brokerage powerhouse has closed 15 yacht sales in as many weeks with a collective value exceeding €518 million; a figure that reflects strong early momentum across the global brokerage landscape, spanning deals from the 30-metre range through to 90 metres.
Following a notable presence at the Palm Beach International Boat Show and the opening of its new Palm Beach office, Burgess has further strengthened its U.S. presence amid strong demand from American buyers. Eight of the sales were to U.S. owners, confirming the region’s demand and influence.
The pattern of sales this quarter points to a balanced, fast‑moving market, with demand remaining strong across all size categories. This mix reflects lively interest so far in 2026.
'Across every segment of the market, we deliver consistent results, and it is this consistency that defines us' said Ben Harwood, Burgess' Sales and Charter Director.
Burgess’ early‑year results mirror wider market stability and aligned buyer confidence. With a second quarter underway, its strong first quarter performance has set a promising tone for the months ahead as the global superyacht market continues to gather pace through 2026.
"This past quarter reflects the trust our clients place in us to execute at the highest level..."
