Burgess Sells 50m Heesen Yacht Inception

By Jenna Mehdi

Burgess has announced the sale of 50m Heesen superyacht INCEPTION. The Dutch yacht was listed at an asking price of $25,000,000. Crispin Baynes of Burgess represented the seller, with the buyer introduced by Derk Jan Rolff of Holland Yacht Connection.

Inception features an exterior design by longtime Heesen design partners Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. Her striking interiors have been designed by Ausberg. Built in 2008 to a style that is still contemporary today, Inception’s new owner is sure to enjoy all of the fantastic amenities and features onboard their new superyacht this summer season.

Accommodating 14 guests and 12 crew members onboard, each of Inception’s staterooms is equipped with an en suite bathroom and state-of-the-art entertainment centre.

Her dedicated Owner’s deck terrace  features one of the yacht’s two deck jacuzzis, which also doubles as an infinity pool.

Inception’s Owner will also be able to make use of the yacht’s study while at sea, or relax and unwind as it is converted into a massage room.

Other onboard highlights include a 360° rotating bed in the master suite with panoramic views, retracting sunroof above the bar on her vast sundeck, which is then convertible into a dance floor lit by micro starlights by night.

Inception’s interiors have been described as similar to those of a Manhattan penthouse, featuring an open-plan and ultra-modern main saloon with white Onyx bar. Silk sofas and Macassar ebony walls provide a seamless contrast and give depth to the yacht’s interiors.

We at Superyachts.com would like to congratulate all parties involved and wish Inception’s new Owner the best with their new yacht.
