By Emily Dawkins

Boutique yacht brokerage firm Cecil Wright has announced that a contract has been signed for an 80m superyacht built by world-renowned German shipyard Nobiskrug, and designed by esteemed British design studio Winch Design. The 80m superyacht has an expected delivery date of 2025 and will be referred to as ‘Project Bullseye’.

With incredible, timeless design from Winch Design and meticulous build skills from Nobiskrug, Project Bullseye is expected to stun the industry. Both teams will be working collaboratively to tailor the 80m vessel to the owner’s wishes and high expectations, and ultimately create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

The owner, with close guidance from Chris Cecil Wright, founder of Cecil Wright, and Henry Smith, Director of Cecil Wright's Monaco Office, selected the German yard to undertake this new build due to its impressive superior construction of custom-built large superyachts, alongside its commitment to sustainability, technical innovation, and high-quality engineering. The Cecil Wright team will remain at the forefront of the build process for Project Bullseye as the owner’s representative and construction supervisor.

Chris Cecil-Wright commented on the new contract: ‘we see this build as the beginning of a long-term partnership with Nobiskrug and it further cements our industry standing as experts in Northern European yacht building. Nobiskrug is known for pushing the boundaries in design and construction techniques along with a bespoke approach. Every superyacht built under their name embodies the unique vision of the Owner combined with innovative ideas and advanced technology.’

The new owner of Nobiskrug and owner and founder of the Tennor Group, Lars Windhorst, stated: ‘we are excited to be working with Cecil Wright, who, like Nobiskrug, operate at the very top end of the superyacht industry. We have been impressed by the value that Cecil Wright have brought to the process and hope that today’s signing is the start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship.’

Liz Cox, Head of the Cecil Wright build team, will be working closely with Winch Design to ensure the owner’s desires and needs are met in terms of the design. The brokerage firm has previously worked with Winch on several outstanding superyachts including Feadship’s 99m MADAME GU and CMN’s 60m SLIPSTREAM

Creative Director for Winch Design, Jim Dixon, added: ‘Winch Design is delighted to be continuing its long-standing partnerships with both Cecil Wright and Nobiskrug, to create and deliver another incredibly exciting superyacht. The project will be unique and tailored to the Owner’s very high expectations of relaxed waterside living and lifestyle features.’

We are looking forward to bringing our readers the latest news surrounding Project Bullseye as she progresses through the construction process.
