Cloud Yachts' $95 Mil Project Metaverse Most Expensive NFT To Date

By Heather Collier

Cloud Yachts welcomes Alex Clarke, one of the world's top super yacht brokers into the metaverse by offering clients augmented reality technology to build their new superyacht. As the first ever digital yacht dealer to the metaverse, Cloud Yachts first gained real momentum after the 2022 Miami Yacht Show last month. With Project Metaverse currently priced at $95,000,000, if sold, she will be the highest price ever paid for an NFT and is to be sold on the blockchain indefinitely.

Where do you go beyond Artefact? “The Metaverse”, said Gregory Marshall, explaining how he is beyond excited to help pioneer such a revolutionary project; optimistic that Denison Yachting will play a vital role in locating a buyer as ecstatic about the experience as the team are.

“Cloud Yachts approached us in late 2021 with a clever concept of minting our superyacht designs as NFTs. To our surprise, they sold 10 Greg Marshall NFTs priced at 1 ETH each during the 2022 Miami International Boat Show. Understanding we were on to something; I began thinking of ways to scale our business with Cloud Yachts.”, Gregory continued.

“We don't want to give away all of our secrets, but it was clear that in order to make Project Metaverse real, we would need a creative broker who not only has the clients, but can also effectively communicate the experience and technology we are offering. Knowing Alex Clarke’s impressive super yacht sales history, we believe he is the guy for this monumental task.”

“When I first heard about the Gregory Marshall NFT new build project I knew I had to be involved", said Alex Clarke. "I feel it will be a ground-breaking project and implement a shift in the way yachts are built and sold. I immediately reached out to Greg and expressed my interest. Seeing the end result with his last project Artefact you can’t help but feel this will be equally epic."

“Alex knows what it takes to support an owner who just committed 100 million dollars and 4 years of their life to building their dream yacht. His intimate knowledge of the super yacht build process has become invaluable to Cloud Yachts as we begin to build more sophisticated NFTs like Project Metaverse." said Gregory. "Alex’s customers will have the opportunity to build their yacht using first of its kind augmented reality technology specifically developed for super yacht builds.”

Project Metaverse is a tailor-made build experience, gaining the upper hand in an ever-evolving market, with an aim by Alex Clarke to champion the project to the finish line.

Together, Gregory Marshall, Alex Clarke, Delta Marine, and Cloud Yachts will list the 63m yacht NFT on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service), providing buyers and yacht enthusiasts to own a limited edition NFT while also turning it into a new build project.

She will be launched on the world stage at the 2022 Palm Beach Yacht Show on March 24th.
