Construction Begins on Future Flagship ISA 80m Continental

ISA, a brand of leading superyacht group Palumbo Superyachts, has decided to proceed with construction as part of what it calls a ‘new strategic plan’. This plan still allows great flexibility, with interior design and customisation activities planned for summer 2021, and is designed to significantly reduce delivery lead-times for superyachts in the 70-80m category.

The Continental range has been designed by Enrico Gobbi and the Team for Design studio, with two versions of 65 and 80 metres. The ISA Continental 80 features a sophisticated exterior profile with streamlined lines and well-balanced volumes throughout. Enrico Gobbi has made an extensive use of glass windows to treat guests with panoramic views of the sea from all interior areas.

The yacht benefits from great terraces in the central section, which help to flood the living spaces with natural light, especially on the Upper Deck. This theme continues throughout the yacht, with areas such as the Sky-lounge gym and the Upper and Main Deck lounges all brightly lit. Another distinctive feature is the rectangular stern infinity pool, spanning the beam of the deck, which features an exquisite waterfall between two glass sheets.

There is plenty of space on the exterior decks for the 12 guests to lounge under the sun, including an extendable beach area. While the guests enjoy optimum luxury in their cabins, the Owner benefits from an exclusive Owner’s deck with lounge and living areas and the master suite forward.

Since its inception in 2002, ISA has delivered 34 superyachts between 30 and 67 metres in length. The shipyard prides itself on combining unique, owner-driven designs with high-end construction capabilities. There are currently 6 superyachts, ranging from 26 to 65m, under construction at the Ancona shipyard – in June 2020 we shared details of the in-construction ISA Classic 65m. Upon her launch, the ISA Continental 80 will become the shipyard’s flagship superyacht, reflecting the commitment of Palumbo Superyachts to taking on larger projects.
