CRN Signs 52m Custom Superyacht Project

By Jenna Mehdi

As the tide begins to turn in favour of superyacht brokerage, CRN has announced the signing of a contract for a new custom 52m full-aluminium yacht. The sale of CRN’s hull number 142 was brokered by Eduardo Cury, President of Miami Yacht Access, with the client represented by Antonello Vittorio Meloni, DIrector of the Luxury Assets Department of Finakey SA.

CRN’s latest project has been developed by its own in-house technical office, in conjunction with Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, who created the concept. Italian studio Massari Design has been commissioned for her interiors.

CRN, who benefits from the immense resources and expertise that come with being a part of Ferretti Group, is sure to prove an unstoppable force as it partners with Dutch and Italian design house on this project.

The CRN 142 has been described by the yard as a ‘low-profile vessel with flowing lines that glisten with sporty spirit’. Her proportions have been carefully curated to account for ultimate connectivity, combining light and airy indoor spaces with extensive outdoor areas. Meanwhile, large windows and abundant use of glass ensure a voluminous and contemporary feel.

The upcoming project marks the third successful collaboration between CRN and Omega Architects - a partnership which brought the world 73m flagship Yalla in 2014 and the in-build 62m M/Y 138.

M/Y 142 will join four fully custom yachts in the CRN construction shed, including 62m M/Y 137 (nearing delivery), 62m M/Y 138, 72m M/Y 139 and 60m M/Y 141.
