CRN Teases Design Details of Bespoke 52m M/Y 142

By Jenna Mehdi

A new masterpiece of custom yacht-building expertise is taking shape at CRN’s Ancona shipyard. The Italian yacht builder, famous for building iconic yachts such as 74m Cloud 9 and 62m Voice, has released exclusive new design details of the in-build 52m M/Y 142 - offering superyacht enthusiasts an exciting glimpse of what is to come.

As is the case with all CRN superyachts, M/Y 142 is a fully bespoke and hand-crafted build. The fruit of an industrious collaboration between CRN and Dutch design studio Omega Architects, her exterior lines are described as ‘taut’ and with ‘a sporty, dynamic personality’.

An all-aluminium vessel, M/Y 142 sports full-height tinted glazing on the main and upper decks to provide a look and feel of connectivity throughout. The yacht’s owners will be able to enjoy sweeping panoramic views while remaining in total privacy within.

Frank Laupman of Omega Architects’ signature arches protect the deck and frame the views onboard M/Y 142 from side and stern.

Aided by large, open-air spaces and intelligent spatial connection between indoor and outdoor areas, the onboard experience of the M/Y 142 is one of seamlessness, spaciousness and volume.

Italian design studio Massari Design is responsible for the warm and welcoming interiors of the yacht. Here, simplicity and minimalism is blended with comfort and liveability to give the sense of a refined home-at-sea.

The designers have implemented an advanced contemporary-living concept, guided by the owners’ vision, to enhance the level of utter luxury and comfort throughout the yacht’s living areas.

The 52m M/Y 142 is scheduled for delivery in 2022. She is joined by three more bespoke yachts currently taking shape in the CRN construction shed: the 62m M/Y 138, 72m M/Y 139 and 60m M/Y 141.

We at Superyachts.com look forward to bringing our readers more details on this exciting custom project as they unfold.
