Custom Line 140': The Brand-New 42m Flagship from Custom Line
Brand-new from Custom Line, the Custom Line 140’ superyacht model is a 42.15m ‘Made in Italy’ motor yacht that is set to become the brand’s new flagship. If built she will be Custom Line's largest yacht to date; the Custom Line 140’ is a combination of stylish design and luxurious comfort with excellent performance and superior technology.
The third Custom Line yacht to have her exterior styling in the capable hands of Francesco Paszkowski Design, the Custom Line 140’ shares the same sweeping lines as the brand’s other planing yachts. Her high speed displacement hull has returned preliminary data that the yacht will reach predicted speeds of 21.5 knots, an impressive feat due to her 400 gross tonnage.
Light coloured structural surfaces are contrasted with dark plate glass to create sleek powerful contours that contribute to the yacht's profoundly sporty aesthetic whilst generously sized windows and floor to ceiling glazing will offer guests direct contact with the water. Paszkowski’s style can be seen in flourishes throughout the exterior design; including the painted aluminum handrail with Y-shaped uprights, an elegant and functional design feature indicative of the designer's style.
The interior design of the superyacht is a collaborative effort between Margherita Casprini and the Custom Line Atelier. The tailor-made designs are the epitome of Custom Line’s bespoke approach to high quality interiors and showcase the skill and expertise of the production team at Custom Line Atelier and the highly specialised craftsmen involved in the interior creation process. The interior designs feature an enormous owners suite on the main deck that spans 30 square metres of space and includes a full walk-in wardrobe. full beam bathroom with twin sinks and both bath and shower. There is also the option to include a panoramic terrace which can provide the owner with a private and direct contact area with the sea.
On the lower deck there is proposed accommodation for eight guests and seven crew members. Aft at the water’s edge, the beach area is designed to offer guests a private setting for leisure activities whilst providing maximum comfort for bathing in the sunshine. The deck area can be furnished as desired for the owner's comfort.
Privacy was of paramount importance in the design of the Custom Line 140’, with special focus on separating the guests from the technical areas of the boat to provide the utmost comfort and relaxation whilst on board.
As with all the latest generation Custom Line yachts, the Custom Line 140’ will be certified according to IMO Tier III standards affirming the Ferretti Group’s strong focus on environmental friendliness and sustainable development.
