Damen Yachting Appoints New Marketing Director
Damen Yachting has appointed Thomas Wieringa its new Marketing Director, amidst a strengthening of the company’s brand vision and plans for growth to better meet the ‘next generation’ of superyacht owner.
Bringing with him a wealth of experience in the luxury FMCG sector, Thomas will bring a fresh and challenging outlook to the established Dutch shipyard. Known for its SeaXplorer luxury expedition yachts, Yacht Support vessels and Amels luxury superyachts, the Damen Yachting brand cherishes over 100 years of history and widespread, proven support with the modern yachting market. Nonetheless, the brand is constantly looking to innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible.
Thomas comments, “My experience beyond the superyacht sector creates a unique starting point to collectively bring Damen Yachting to the next level. A great opportunity to position and bring our brands to life as well as positioning our corporate brand within the global yachting industry. As we look to increase market growth, we will be continuing to build on a strong luxury portfolio as well as being innovative to drive a new route to market.”
