Denison Yachting Announces New Charter Management Director Nicholas Fry

By Heather Collier

Denison Yachting is delighted to announce the latest addition to their team, new Charter Management Director, Nicholas Fry.

Fry will be based from Denison's Monaco office, pushing efforts for expansion throughout Europe in the hope of growing the charter division.

Fry has since shared his admiration for the brokerage, commenting: "I am very excited about this great opportunity to develop, expand, and oversee the charter fleet of Denison Yachting in Europe. I will be sharing my passion for sailing and hospitality with our clients and will make sure we build successful charter programs for their yachts."

Denison’s Europe Director, Jeremy Roche, will be working closely with Fry in Monaco. He remarked: “We are delighted to welcome Nico to our growing team in Monaco. Nico has an excellent reputation with clients, is extremely well-respected in the industry, and brings a wealth of experience dealing with some very large yachts. He is integral to our growth strategy and will work to expand our fleet of yachts, particularly above 40 meters.”

Fry was first introduced to the yachting industry in 2005 when his father purchased the 25-metre sailing yacht DJANGO TOO and asked him to help market her for charter. He boasts extensive experience working as crew on charter yachts, and also holds a Captain’s license.

"This combined experience created the perfect blend of knowledge to work as a successful charter manager, supporting the owner and crew and understanding all their challenges", says the brokerage.

After working in charter management with Camper and Nicholsons for five years, he was responsible for building the charter reputation of some of the world's most iconic superyachts, including CHRISTINA O, ECLIPSE, and SULTANA.

In 2018, he joined Northrop & Johnson, where he developed the incredibly successful charter profile of the 72-metre SOLO among many other yachts, growing the fleet and the Europe team.

Now undertaking the role as Charter Management Director for Denison in Europe, Fry will oversee the development of Denison's charter fleet and focus on evolving charter management in the Mediterranean.

"His expertise in building the charter reputation of yachts under his management, through a combination of diverse marketing strategies, personal relationships, and the organisation of multiple events, have made him one of the leading charter managers in the superyacht market today", adds the brokerage.

"We are delighted to welcome Nico to our growing team in Monaco. Nico has an excellent reputation with clients, is extremely well-respected in the industry, and brings a wealth of experience dealing with some very large yachts. He is integral to our growth strategy and will work to expand our fleet of yachts, particularly above 40 meters."
