Denison Yachting Announces Sale of 35m Van der Valk PROJECT SAMBA

PROJECT SAMBA has been designed by Diana Yacht Design and Ginton Naval Architects with both the interior and exterior created by Gudio de Groot. She has been fully custom-built for the client. 

Will Noftsinger of Denison Yachting represented the Buyer and has expressed his satisfaction of finding the perfect vessel for his client. He commented, ‘To make what my client wanted happen, we had to build a custom yacht at a yard that would do exactly that, which is somewhat of a rarity in this size range…Van der Valk just clicked in a major way with my clients, as I had suspected they would.’

Noftsinger also commented on PROJECT SAMBA, saying, ‘She’s going to be absolutely stunning and feature loads of amenities that will set the bar for yachts to come at her size range.’ She is a 298 GT aluminium tri-deck yacht with impressive design and architectural features, including five cabins with on-deck owners suite, and ample space for crew quarters. Combined with Zero Speed Stabilizers, a fast displacement hull and a top speed of 17 knots, the impressive nature of her design is showcased. 

PROJECT SAMBA represents something spectacular for Van der Valk yachts; not only does she showcase the impressive ability of the shipyard to create a yacht of this size with as many notable features as she does, she is also a creation that boasts the harmonious way in which the builders work with clients to custom-design a yacht to perfectly suit their requirements. This is not the first time that Van der Valk have created an ambitious design; BLUE JEANS (2022) has often been attributed the status of being a compex build. Despite BLUE JEANS having a higher top speed of 28 knots, PROJECT SAMBA is two metres longer and contains equally as impressive annemities; including a stunning sauna, complete beach club and a transformer pad on swim platform. 

Yoeri Bijker, Head of Sales at Van der Valk, commented on the customisation of PROJECT SAMBA: ‘Everything you see on the renderings for Project Samba has been chosen by the owners as they implement their own style and make a statement of personal taste.’
