DOM 133: Seventh Hull Signed for Baglietto
The 40.54m DOM 133 by Stefano Vafiadis has now been sold by Italian shipyard Baglietto.
Baglietto specializes in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts ranging between 38 and 50 metres in length and steel, and aluminium displacement superyachts above 40 metres. The shipyard currently resides between two major production sites, with their headquarters located in La Spezia, and their main operating site in Carrara.
The order was acquired thanks to the support of IBI Yachts in introducing the client, while the yacht's technical surveyor and project manager will be Andrea Pezzini from Floating Life.
"The sale of this seventh hull, the eighth in the DOM series," says Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto CCO, "is further confirmation of the validity of a project synthetizing the perfect combination of technology, aesthetics and versatility of uses and spaces, elements that have ensured its great appreciation by the international market. A line that is sure to be successful and will soon see interesting new developments."
Main features include modern and captivating lines taking inspiration from the automotive world, with extraordinary volumes for a yacht of this size with no competition in the market.
In terms of space, she boasts a modern layout leaving no market needs unmet, a beach club on two levels where the infinity pool can rise to make the already spacious cockpit even larger, and can be used even in port dockage.
Other key highlights include panoramic windows that open up to become terraces and the possibility to install a lift if required.
Her limited draught allows for guests to easily cruise even in the shallow waters of the Bahamas and Caribbean, combined with a winning choice of aluminium, which ensures not only higher quality and onboard comfort, but also greater flexibility and the possibility to make changes that results in highly-customised exteriors.
In terms of performance, she has 2 Caterpillar C32 engines that will push her to an impressive maximum speed of 17 knots, complimented by optional hybrid propulsion.
The yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2025, with interiors expected to be penned by the shipyard's in-house Interior Design team.
