East Med Multihull & Yacht Charter Show (EMMYS) 2026 Kicks Off

True to its name, EMMYS centres on crewed charter yachts with a strong emphasis on catamarans (multihulls), which continue to dominate demand in the Greek and Eastern Mediterranean market. The show typically features around 100 luxury charter yachts from roughly 30 exhibitors, including both multihulls and a selection of monohull sailing yachts and motor yachts.

Held in-water at Poros Port, the format allows brokers and professionals to step aboard yachts, inspect them thoroughly, and experience layouts and crew service in a real setting ahead of the busy summer charter season. Poros offers a perfect backdrop: protected waters, easy access from Athens (about 1 hour by ferry or road), and charming island surroundings. The intimate harbour setting creates a more relaxed and approachable atmosphere compared to larger boat shows, encouraging genuine networking and business conversations.

Exhibitor pavilions will showcase marine suppliers, charter management companies, and new products, while a varied industry programme will feature seminars, the ever-popular Chef Competition (split into categories by daily rate), tablescaping contests, and plenty of networking opportunities. 

Now in its 22nd edition, EMMYS remains highly focused and efficient, a professional platform rather than a glamorous public spectacle. This show serves as an important barometer for charter trends in the region, particularly the ongoing boom in multihull charters favoured for their space, stability, and shallow-draft access to beautiful anchorages.
