ETHEREA: Feadship’s New Concept Vision of the Fifth Element

By Nora Hart

Feadship’s newest ready-to-build concept, ETHEREA, brings a fresh sense of purity, light and year-round liveability to the 75.5-metre yacht. Shaped by Studio De Voogt with interiors by FM Architettura, she embodies Feadship’s long-held philosophy: that a yacht should be more than a vessel, it should be a complete way of life.

With her low, timeless profile and a split-level arrangement that opens up unusually generous guest spaces, ETHEREA balances elegance with architectural ingenuity. Glass is the defining signature. Structural glass, skylights and transparent pool elements channel daylight throughout the yacht, linking the bridge, stair hall, bow lounge and Wintergarden while offering unbroken views across decks. The aft pool, with glass sides and a luminous glass bottom, connects terraces, spa and beach club in one sweep.

Conceived as a residence in constant motion, ETHEREA is designed for every latitude and season. Her Wintergarden transforms from breezy summer veranda to climate-controlled winter retreat, while discreet wind protection across the decks ensures comfort without disturbing the clarity of her lines. Life on board flows naturally between work and leisure, well suited for a floating home that follows the rhythm of the year, from Mediterranean summers to Scandinavian winters.

FM Architettura’s interior draws inspiration from the Californian coast, weaving earthy hues, tactile textures and oceanic tones into a calm, refined environment that feels both grounded and open to the sea. Technology and wellness are seamlessly integrated, supporting an atmosphere of understated and effortless luxury.

Named after the concept of a fifth element, ETHEREA reflects Feadship’s aim to create a yacht that works seamlessly across climates, seasons and cruising styles. Rather than being tied to one setting, she is built for flexible, year-round use, supported by thoughtful design and a calm, modern interior. In essence, ETHEREA offers owners the freedom to travel with the comfort and consistency of a true home on the water.

"ETHEREA offers her owners an infinite way of life — the freedom to carry their world wherever the horizon leads."
