Everything You Need to Know about the Antigua Charter Yacht Show 2024
Marking the beginning of the Caribbean sailing season, the Antigua Charter Yacht Show (ACYS) is gearing up for its 63rd edition, which is commencing in just a week’s time. The show is renowned for being a long-lived tradition of beauty, culture and partnerships, playing host to some of the world’s most sought-after charter vessels.
Between the 4th and 9th of December, key industry players from around the world will flock to the beautiful island of Antigua for the Antigua Charter Yacht Show. It is an event that presents endless networking opportunities for attendees, celebrating the charter market of the superyacht industry. The ACYS is also a hub for brokers to seek out the best yachts for their clients, with around 2,000 crew members and captains in attendance year upon year.
Over 200 brokerage houses are set to attend this year’s show, including Edmiston, Burgess, Cecil Wright, Camper & Nicholsons, plus many more. Attendees will be able to marvel at the 60-plus superyachts on display, the most standout vessels being BLACK PEARL, CC-SUMMER and BOLD, whilst also immersing themselves in the various specialised products showcased by marine vendors.
The 2024 edition boasts a jam-packed events schedule; on the second night of the show, all attendees are invited to a welcome networking event at The Copper & Lumber Store Hotel, and on the 8th of December an After Show Party is taking place, themed ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.
It is not just the vessels themselves that make the show so special; attendees are able to make the most of their time on the beautiful island all whilst forging meaningful industry relationships.
The 24th Annual ACYS Concous de Chef and Tablescaping competition is also set to take place. Named ‘The Art of the Charter’, all chefs and crew are invited to showcase their talents to attendees, with a focus on themed charter nights to show the meticulous ways in which every aspect of the guest experience is elevated.
