Extra Yachts Launches Second X99 Fast
Extra Yachts has launched the second unit of its new X99 Fast model from its Ancona facility.
A brand of the Palumbo Group, which also includes ISA Yachts, Extra Yachts was established under a vision to provide a ‘new cruise concept’ and a philosophy of ‘going out to sea’ which guarantees intense experiences of the natural world.
Belonging to the Palumbo Superyachts network has benefitted Extra Yachts with a wealth of naval expertise and construction facilities, which has provided a platform for a great rise in production over the last few years.
The latest yacht to emerge from the Ancona shipyard was the second unit of the 30-metre X99 Fast, following the launch of the first unit in February. The yacht features naval architecture by the in-house team at Palumbo Superyachts, with Guida Design penning the exterior.
For her category, the Extra X99 boasts large volumes that are devoted to enhancing conviviality onboard. In particular, a 75 sqm stern outdoor area slopes down to the sea, and is fitted with folding balconies to provide ample opportunity to revel in the sun. The space is complete with a sunbathing and lounge area, as well as dining table that seats up to 12.
The interior layout has been crafted to be dynamic and modern to suit the preferences of the Owner, enhancing contact with the surrounding environment. Extra X99 Fast can accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 spacious and luxurious cabins.
The second unit of the X99 Fast has been renamed Mini K2 on her launch.
