Feadship Boardwalk Begins Sea Trials

By George Bains

The 77m Feadship superyacht Project 707, named Boardwalk, has left the Aalsmer facility to begin her sea trials.

Due to be delivered to her owner in 2021, Boardwalk has already proven that she is a superyacht worthy of joining the stellar Feadship fleet. The 77-metre project, designed by Feadship’s De Voogt Naval Architects, features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and arrived at the Aalsmer shipyard in December 2019.

Boardwalk’s sea trials come soon after the launch of 71.5m superyacht Project 819, and it already looks like 2021 is set up to be another year of great success for Feadship. 2020 was a significant year for the shipyard with the delivery of 99.95m superyacht Moonrise, the largest superyacht by waterline length to be built in the Netherlands.

We look forward to sharing more details of Boardwalk following the completion of her sea trials.
