Feadship Delivers Sophisticated Evolution with MOONRISE
Feadship has announced the delivery of MOONRISE, a 101-metre superyacht that takes the legacy of her 2020 predecessor to new heights. Combining elegant design, innovative technology, and an exceptional level of luxury, this new vessel stands out as a true masterpiece in the 100-metre yacht category.
Much like the original MOONRISE, the new yacht features the signature sleek lines and powerful vertical bow created by Studio De Voogt, with a refined grey and white exterior that exudes sophistication. However, this latest iteration introduces a number of key design updates that enhance both its aesthetic and functional appeal.
A notable change is the complete removal of the traditional satellite domes, a first for Feadship. Previously, multiple domes housed VSAT and TVRO antennas, but MOONRISE now integrates Starlink satellite receivers directly into the superstructure, ensuring improved connectivity and a more streamlined look.
Onboard, the yacht offers an elevated level of comfort and luxury. The sun deck has been expanded to include a massage area, gym, and salon, while the exterior decks and swim platform are larger, providing more space for relaxation and entertainment. The addition of an owner’s deck and a private cinema on the bridge deck further enhances the onboard experience.
Feadship’s focus on comfort and performance extends below the surface as well. The yacht’s naval architecture has been carefully optimised to reduce noise and vibration, ensuring a quieter experience whether cruising or at anchor. Innovative propellers and appendages help minimise both underwater noise and interior sound, while the inclusion of a fully resilient-mounted anchor winch foundation with optimised chain routing further improves onboard comfort.
With an overall length of 101 metres, a beam of 15.5 metres, and a draught of 4.2 metres, MOONRISE strikes a balance between scale and precision. The yacht is currently undergoing final outfitting and will soon proceed with sea trials before being handed over to her owner.
