Feadship Project 819 Nears Launch

By George Bains

Feadship’s latest superyacht project, 71.50m Project 819, has left the construction hall at the Kaag shipyard ahead of her official launch ceremony.

Just a matter of days after the launch of 88.38m superyacht Project 816, the Dutch yacht builder has added another impressive launch to 2020. Project 819, or Galina, was photographed outside the Kaag facility where she was moved to complete her final outfitting phase before sea trials in the new year.

With both interior and exterior design by London studio Harrison Eidsgaard, Project 819 boasts a sleek profile characterised by spacious forward deck spaces and a well-equipped sun deck, while large windows on all levels will provide guests great views of the surrounding environment.

2020 has been a milestone year for Feadship, marked by the launch of 99.95m superyacht Moonrise – the largest superyacht by waterline length to be built in the Netherlands. Project 819 is another thrilling addition to the Feadship fleet, and shows that the renowned Dutch shipyard continues to be a hallmark of superyacht innovation.

We look forward to the official launch ceremony of Project 819 and her delivery in the near future.
