Feadship's 83m Project 712 Unveiled

By Heather Collier

Feadship has officially pulled its 82.9-metre superyacht Project 712 out of the shed for the very first time.

Project 712's hull and superstructure were penned and constructed at Feadship’s facility near Papendrecht, the Netherlands.

She has now been transported to a second location in Rotterdam after her load-out took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Project 712 is a sub-2000 GT superyacht with a steel and aluminium hull. De Voogt Naval Architects oversaw her engineering, whilst Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design have designed her interior spaces.

Sinot and Feadship have now worked together on 17 projects, including the 92m Aquarius, the 87.78m Fountainhead and 102.6m Feadship De Vries 1011.

Beyond these dimensions and collaborations, the Feadship vessel remains shrouded in mystery. However, the shipyard has now unveiled her in her technical launch, commenting:

"Here are the first glimpses of the 82.90-metre Project 712 getting prepared for her transport to the Feadship outfitting yard in Aalsmeer. Even in this early stage of the build you can already see that this will be another magnificent addition to the ever-growing Feadship fleet."

She will be relocated to Feadship’s facility in Aalsmeer for her outfitting in the coming days.

Project 712 is expected to be delivered in 2024.
