Feadship's Most Exceptional Exteriors of All Time
One of the most accomplished superyacht builders and champion of the Top100 rankings, Feadship is a pioneer when it comes to executing owners’ visions. Proving this builder’s ability to deliver a range as diverse as it is excellent, we give you our five most exceptional Feadship exteriors of all time…
1. Savannah
Flaunting a sleek plumb bow and metallic exterior, 83.5m Savannah’s stylish profile has become a hallmark of distinctive Feadship design. Penned by Studio de Voogt in collaboration with Cristina Gherardi Design (who also designed the yacht’s interior), Savannah’s aesthetic is the epitome of modern despite having been delivered almost seven years ago.
2. Anna
At 110m, Anna is the largest Feadship delivered to date - and arguably the most sophisticated. Designed by prolific studio Michael Leach Design and brought to life by Feadship’s De Voogt Naval Architects, Anna’s curved superstructure and clean, flowing lines give the effect of elegance and grace even on such a grand scale.
3. Boardwalk
Launched just last year, Boardwalk is quite unlike any other Feadship of the 21st Century. Eschewing the trends and opting for a more classic look, 78m Boardwalk is testament to Feadship’s incredible capacity and range. Delivered in the same year as 94m Viva, Boardwalk consolidated Feadship’s status as a versatile builder capable of bringing any dream to life.
4. Madame Gu
On the other end of the spectrum but no less impressive, Feadship’s 2013-delivered Madame Gu is every bit as iconic today as the day she first hit the water. Designed in collaboration with British design legend Andrew Winch, Madame Gu’s cobalt blue hull belies intricate detailing along 99 metres of mastery.
5. Istros
Re-launched in 2020, the 1954 classic Feadship motor yacht Istros is our fifth and final pick for most exemplary exteriors of all time. In an exclusive interview with Captain Tristan Le Brun, Superyachts.com learnt how Feadship diligently restored its original hull to the exacting eco-conscious standards of today, without compromising the yacht’s classic and colourful heritage.
"From the very beginning I had Feadship in mind for the rebuild."
