Ferretti Group has continued to roll out its corporate strategy for growth, turning to the promising Asian market to cement its shipbuilding leadership. The Italian shipbuilding group which comprises superyacht brands CRN, Riva, Pershing, Custom Line and Ferretti Yachts as well as Itama and Mochi Craft has announced a series of accolades cementing its esteem in the strategic market.

There is much discussion and excitement surrounding the maturing Asian market as second generation HNWIs in the region increasingly look to spend capital in the superyacht industry. Ferretti Group, who recently published its first annual corporate responsibility report, has made it an imperative to establish a strong presence in the strategic region.

Scooping a series of accolades at the prestigious Oceanway China Yacht Annual Awards, held in Zhuhai, China on December 11, Ferretti Group saw its excellence in design and technological innovation across the group celebrated at the event. Ferretti Yachts 500 scooped the award for the ‘Best Exterior Design (50-80ft)’, the iconic Riva 50 Metri won ‘Best Yacht of the Year (40-70m)’, Riva Dolceriva scored ‘Best Yacht of the Year (30-50ft)’ and 79m Mimtee was awarded ‘Best Yacht of the Year (over 70m)’.

Ferretti Group’s eastward expansion is nothing new however. For the eighth year running, Ferretti Yachts was recently acclaimed ‘Best Luxury Yacht Brand 2021’ at the 17th Hurun Best of the Best Awards held in Shanghai. The awards are based on the results of the Hurun China Luxury Consumer Survey 2021 conducted by Hurun Research Institute.
