Ferretti Launches First Yacht of 2022 Despite Fire Trouble

By Danny Wiser

A Maltese owner commissioned the Ferretti Yachts 780 CLUB B which has been launched just three weeks after a fire caused disruption at the Cattolica shipyard.

Ferretti Yachts’ first launch of the year demonstrates the shipbuilders return to full operational capacity after the incident.

CEO Alberto Galassi seized the moment to convey a message that order has been restored.

He said: “The launch of this Ferretti Yachts 780 CLUB B marks the return to our extraordinary normality.”

Galassi continued by expressing appreciation of his staff’s efforts to complete the launch under such challenging circumstances.

At Cattolica, speed and quality go hand in hand. It is fantastic to see the Shipyard get back to full operational capacity in such a short time.

I will never be able to adequately praise or thank all the people in the area and at Ferretti Yachts who have worked tirelessly to get us back to doing what we are famous for around the world: building and delivering dream yachts to our customers.”

The launch comes ahead of Ferretti’s much anticipated Ferretti Yachts 1000, the company’s flagship build of 2022.

Ferretti Yachts 780 CLUB B’s immaculate Italian design is down to the collaboration between Ideaeitalia who focused on the interior and Piero Ferrari’s team at the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

Her outdoor area features sofas from the custom collection designed by Roda exclusively for Ferretti Yachts.
