First Amels 60 Superyacht COME TOGETHER Delivered

By Emily Dawkins

The first superyacht from the brand new Amels 60 range, now named 'Come Together', has been successfully delivered to her owner. Launched in March from Damen Yachting’s Vlissingen shipyard, the 60m, Espen Øino-penned vessel became the first in a ‘new generation’ of Amels superyachts. Come Together will now join the Y.CO Yacht Management and Charter Management fleets.

Showcasing a timeless exterior profile by esteemed yacht designer Espen Øino, Amels’ newest Limited Editions yacht, 60m Come Together, has now been delivered to her new owner. Built for a repeat Amels owner, she is the first of five under-construction yachts within the Amels 60 Limited Edition range to be delivered.

With a sleek custom-coloured metallic pebble grey hull and matterhorn white and super jet black superstructure, Come Together’s exterior profile is nothing short of a masterpiece. Multiple stretching windows, a vast 27m wide sun deck, 7 square metre fold-down balcony from the owner’s suite and a spacious swim platform are just some of the exquisite exterior features onboard. Ample tender and toy storage also add to Come Together’s advantageous characteristics.

Inside, contemporary and environmentally-friendly Winch Design and Damen Yachting interiors showcase neutral tones and natural woods: creating a calm and harmonious layout onboard.

The 60m vessel harbours Amels’ forward-thinking hybrid power and propulsion technology, which ensures highly efficient travel to far-reaching locations as well as reduced emissions, noise and vibrations during cruising.

The new Amels 60 vessel was identified by Y.CO as the exemplary vessel for their client, who will focus on an active, watersports operation to some of the most daring destinations in the world, as well as offering her for charter.

Come Together will begin her charter program next month in the Mediterranean, with an enthusiastic cruising schedule organised for next year. Her planned charters are set to take guests to the most remote areas of the world: a fitting adventure for her more than capable 4500 nautical mile range.

Y.CO Co-Founder and CEO, Charlie Birkett, commented on the success delivery: ‘Come Together is an exciting addition to our fleet, not just because of her groundbreaking technology and design but because of her ambitious cruising schedule, which will see her being used as a platform for surfing, diving and exploring all over the world. Our experienced yacht management and charter management teams, who have a lot of experience running similar operations, are working with the Client’s team and the crew to plan the yacht’s inaugural cruising seasons, and we can’t wait to see it all in action.’

Ben Ritchie from the Y.CO Sales Team added: ‘We are extremely happy to be taking delivery of this groundbreaking new yacht on behalf of our Client, and are proud to welcome her into our fleet as well as to be able to offer her for charter during her very first summer season. The Amels Limited Editions superyachts have proven exceptionally popular amongst buyers and charterers over the years due to their versatility, proven engineering and sociable outdoor spaces, and we anticipate that Come Together will prove a hit on the charter market.’

Come Together will be available to book for her maiden charter from the 2nd to the 9th July, as well as opportunities for charter in the Med in August and September.
