First ISA GT 45m Enters Outfitting Phase

By George Bains

The first of two units of the ISA Granturismo 45 model has moved into the outfitting phase at the shipyard in Ancona. With a launch scheduled for spring of 2021, hull 1 f the GT 45 is due to be presented to the public for the first time at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2021.

The 45-metre ISA GT features a beautiful exterior profile penned by Enrico Gobbi of the Venetian studio Team for Design, complemented by the interiors styled by Luca Dini. Earlier this year, ISA Yachts General Manager Francesco Carbone described the GT 45 as a sexy stylish” superyacht when speaking to Superyachts.com Lead Editor Jenna Mehdi. The superyacht combines style, sportiness and dynamism in a future-proof and timeless design which is sure to turn heads when she launches next year.

Enrico Gobbi’s work on the exterior harnesses some of the recognisable characteristics of past ISA creations, including pronounced arches connecting the hull to the superstructure and strikingly elaborate air intakes reminiscent of a sports car. With the volume of the superstructure concentrated astern, the GT 45 is able to reproduce the typical outlines of a grand sports coupe.

Don’t let her slender profile fool you, as this is a voluminous superyacht which comfortably accommodates 10 guests in four spacious staterooms on the lower deck and a luxurious full-beam master suite with balcony and private access directly to the bow sunbathing area.

Guests will be treated to breath-taking views across the ocean thanks to large windows running along the profile, while the yacht is also well endowed with luxury amenities. A large swimming pool on the main deck and a beach club/gym with glass doors at sea level on the lower deck provide plenty for guests to do while soaking up the sun.

The Luca Dini interior welcomes guests with sumptuous contemporary styling and a harmonious balance between precious and natural materials combined with high-tech elements including the us of carbon to create bespoke furniture conferring timeless elegance and refined emotions.

Light oak, bleached teak, lacquers, carbon, steel and glass have all been applied in variations, while dark metal details add contrast and draw brightness to enhance accents to the fundamental idea.

The ISA GT 45 promises comfort and style, with excellent interior guest spaces and great outdoor liveability with a seamless flow to ensure time onboard this superyacht is enjoyed to its full potential.

We look forward to following the progress of the first and second hulls of this exciting model.
