First Sunseeker 100 Yacht Launched

The first, and highly anticipated, Sunseeker 100 Yacht has officially been revealed from the Sunseeker headquarters in Poole. 

Featuring an array of entertainment features, alongside an impressive overall versatility, the new 29.85m boasts a stretching flybridge with easy access from bow to stern. Her extensive exterior spaces, including on flybridge, have been developed to create a harmonious flow and form the ultimate entertaining zones. 

On her foredeck, the 100 Yacht boasts another attractive seating area, which is also able to accommodate a cinema screen for movie nights at sea. On her central flybridge, L-shaped seating, a wet bar, and space for additional optional seating or a spa-bath, add to her array of options for open-air socialising.

Inside, the spacious interior benefits from her broad 6.9m beam which creates a larger than usual interior volume compared to other yachts of a similar size. A luxurious full-beam master suite on the main deck boasts floor to ceiling windows, as well as a stunning glass atrium forward which leads to a private owner’s terrace. 

According to the shipyard, the new 100 Yacht is due to shake up its ‘Yacht’ range, and marks a 'new era' for its functionality and flybridge designs. 

Andrea Frabetti, Chief Executive Officer at Sunseeker International commented on the launch: ‘we are incredibly proud to unveil the 100 Yacht here in Poole with the owner in attendance to see, for the first time, this spectacular new model. Our project team has worked incredibly hard to present the first build and prepare the vessel for initial sea trials and testing.’ 

The launch of the first 100 Yacht is only the start of an extremely busy year for the British shipyard, as Frabetti explains: ‘the second hull is following in close succession and our teams are now busy building multiple 100 Yacht orders for delivery in 2022 and beyond; it’s been a remarkable success. The order book is a reflection of our brand strength, the in-house creativity and the passion of all involved to deliver a spectacular new model. This is the only yacht offering seamless access between flybridge, foredeck and owners’ private terrace on the sea.'

The new 100 Yacht has a maximum speed of 29 knots, and a cruising speed of 12 knots at a range of up to 1,300 nm.
