Five Largest Superyachts Headlining the Antigua Charter Show
As long nights and chilly temperatures tighten their grip on much of Europe, the warm shores of the Caribbean are looking ever more appealing for a Christmas getaway. And with the prestigious Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting under a month away, there has never been more reason to head to the tropics. Taking place between the 4th and 9th December, we take a look at the largest superyachts that have confirmed their attendance at ACYM so far.
- TRIUMPH - 65.4m / 215ft
This Benetti new build was sold by Manuele Thiella of Royal Yacht International earlier this year, and will now be making her highly-anticipated show debut at ACYM. The largest yacht whose attendance has been confirmed so far, TRIUMPH’s array of luxurious amenities include sauna, gym, massage room and touch-and-go helipad.
- GALENE - 54.86m / 180ft
Available for charter with Y.CO, GALENE is the ultimate purpose-built charter yacht for a Caribbean getaway this winter. Delivered by Amels in 2020, GALENE’s incredible array of water toys, expert crew and emphasis on indoor-outdoor living promise to make for the charter experience of a lifetime.
- SPIRIT - 54.25m / 178ft
Also available with Y.CO is 54.24m SPIRIT, another Amels-built superyacht with an exploratory edge. This yacht’s exceptional interiors, including massage facilities and 85-inch plasma TV, are what separates her from the crowd. SPIRIT’s 12m custom tender known as ‘The Beast’ is capable of shuttling up to 14 guests ashore at 40 knots.
- NITA K II - 52.12m / 171ft
Delivered in 2004 and refitted in 2019, Nita K II features all of the amenities and equipment of the modern day with a more classic sophistication. Available for charter with TWW Yachts, Nita K II’s owner has meticulously curated her extensive water toy selection and AV systems with charter guests in mind.
- HYPERION - 47.24m / 155ft
Representing the growing choice of sailing yachts on the charter market is 47.24m HYPERION, built by the esteemed Royal Huisman in 1998 and available with Hill Robinson.
