Flexplorer 146 NASIBA Delivered: A Pioneering Milestone in Health-Conscious Design

By Grace Elmes

Winch Design and Cantiere delle Marche have announced the delivery of NASIBA, the third hull in the acclaimed 44m Flexplorer 146 series. Reflecting the owners’ deep commitment to health and wellbeing, NASIBA sets a new benchmark in health-conscious yacht design.

Built at Cantiere delle Marche’s Ancona facility, the yacht’s bespoke interior by Winch Design, developed in collaboration with EcoNest Architects, embraces natural materials, low-VOC finishes and biophilic principles to create an environment that supports both physical and mental vitality. The fundamental elements of living plants, soft ambient lighting and organic textures have been carefully chosen to align with the body’s natural rhythms.

‘The delivery of NASIBA marks a deeply meaningful collaboration,’ says Vasco Buonpensiere, Co-Founder and CEO of Cantiere delle Marche. ‘Together with the exceptional team at Winch Design, we've delivered a yacht that is as pioneering in spirit as it is in design.'

Highlights include an infrared sauna paired with a foredeck ice plunge pool, a preserved moss living wall, and a dining table crafted from 250-year-old naturally fallen timber. The design blends Wabi Sabi influences with family-focused functionality, featuring spaces of serenity, learning areas and sustainable craftsmanship throughout.

Equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines and a 65,000-litre fuel capacity, NASIBA offers a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 10 knots, while advanced emissions-reduction systems ensure IMO Tier III compliance.

This remarkable collaboration between Cantiere delle Marche, Winch Design and visionary owners redefines conscious luxury where innovation, health and environmental integrity intersect.
