Forty World Premieres: Nearly Half the Fleet Debuts at Monaco Yacht Show 2025
The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 is positioned to be a defining moment for the superyacht industry, with nearly half of the 120 superyachts scheduled for display making their world debuts in September. This represents the highest concentration of premieres in the event's history, signaling significant shifts in both design philosophy and market demand. Port Hercule will host an unprecedented showcase of innovation, drawing together the industry's most influential stakeholders for what promises to be a pivotal event.
At the forefront stands BREAKTHROUGH by Feadship, the largest yacht at the show at 118.8 metres and the world’s first fuel-cell-powered superyacht. Her unprecedented size and pioneering green technology make her the undisputed star of the event. Guests aboard will experience unique features such as a semi-submerged Neptune lounge offering immersive underwater views, a dedicated cinema, and an 8.2-metre infinity pool at the stern; all combining to set a new standard for sustainable superyacht design.
Close behind is Feadship’s MOONRISE, a sleek 101-metre vessel that exemplifies Northern European craftsmanship at its finest. MOONRISE boasts a minimalist exterior with integrated satellite technology, expansive decks including a private owner’s suite, and a state-of-the-art wellness centre featuring a spa and gym. Her scale and refined design ensure she will attract significant attention from buyers and enthusiasts alike.
Complementing these giants are major European builders like Benetti and Heesen, unveiling custom yachts that marry impressive size with exceptional performance and bespoke personalisation. The fleet spectrum ranges from 24-metre explorers to flagships exceeding 100 metres, reflecting the market’s continued appetite for luxury, innovation, and sustainability.
While size dominates the show’s narrative, remarkable design partnerships also feature prominently. Admiral’s AMALYA, at 77.5 metres, is the builder’s largest to date and highlights silent cruising with advanced lithium polymer battery technology, wrapped in a striking aqua-blue hull. AFTER YOU, also from Admiral and created in collaboration with Giorgio Armani, commands attention with a satin gold exterior, bold geometric forms, and interiors rich in Black Marquinia marble and golden Calacatta, showcasing a fusion of yachting and luxury fashion.
The Monaco Yacht Show will also welcome top shipyards, designers, owners, and buyers, with private previews and exclusive events enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. With a record number of premieres anchored by BREAKTHROUGH and MOONRISE, alongside yachts breaking new ground in design and technology, the 2025 show promises to be the definitive event for anyone serious about the future of superyachting—where remarkable scale meets visionary innovation.
