GHOST Unveiled: Foiler Introduces the World’s First Private Foiling Yacht

By Nora Hart

Foiler has lifted the curtain on Project GHOST, the world’s first 28-metre private foiling yacht and the brand’s most ambitious project to date. Revealed at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025, the announcement marks a defining moment for next-generation yacht design. GHOST’s status as a world-first stems not just from size, but from the unprecedented combination of full foiling capability, long-range private-yacht amenities, and a serial-production platform, something never before achieved at this scale.

Developed in collaboration with Bozca Design and built by ENATA, GHOST introduces a new era of performance, comfort, and near-silent cruising. Using ENATA’s advanced foiling technology, an evolution of the system first seen on Foiler’s renowned SPIRIT, GHOSTt rises up to two metres above the water, delivering a smooth, stable ride at 30-35 knots and achieving speeds above 40 knots. At full flight, the yacht offers an experience unlike any conventional vessel: quiet, effortless and remarkably tranquil.

Constructed entirely from carbon fibre and titanium, GHOST combines strength with a lightweight architecture that unlocks extraordinary efficiency. With a length of 28 metres and an eight-metre beam that expands to almost 20 metres when the foils deploy, the yacht presents a commanding, futuristic profile defined by sculptural geometry. Floor-to-ceiling glazing creates a luminous, almost transparent interior environment with uninterrupted 360-degree sea views.

On board, GHOST offers over 185 square metres of living space and 52 square metres of exterior deck. The open-plan layout supports three to five cabins and features a private beach club aft with direct access to the sea, a unique offering on a yacht that can still be registered as a pleasure craft. Inside, contemporary minimalism, premium materials, and seamlessly integrated control systems set the ambience, while Foiler’s signature front seating and intuitive joystick controls empower owner-operators to helm the yacht with precision.

‘Foiling transforms the experience of yachting,’ said Alois Vieujot, CEO of ENATA Group. ‘At 40 knots, passengers can move freely, speak in hushed tones, and enjoy a completely smooth, stable ride, something unimaginable on a conventional yacht. GHOST takes this comfort and serenity to a whole new scale.’

Conceived as a serial-production, semi-customisable model, GHOST represents the beginning of a new generation for Foiler. Construction is set to begin within the next 12 to 18 months, with the first launch scheduled for 2029, and the global yachting community already watching closely.
