By Danny Wiser

Port Rashid Marina has seen the opening of a state-of-the-art experience centre after a record-breaking year for the Emirati shipyard.

The experience centre is the first of its kind for Gulf Craft in which customers will be able to touch and feel the luxurious finishings which go into every yacht, as well as explore the range using virtual reality technology.

As the shipyard enter its 40th year, the company’s Chariman Mohammed Hussein AlShaali sees it as a valuable time to take stock and celebrate their achievements.

“We must take time to reflect on our achievements from the past and our ambitions for the future.”

He continued: “As our global presence continues to expand at a significant pace we must adapt and change the way we do business with our international clients, which is why we are incredibly proud to be delivering a luxury experience through our new hub in Dubai’s Port Rashid.”

Their efforts to improve the client experience point to appealing to a globalised market, which they have been continually doing over recent years.

In 2021 the UAE-based shipyard broke records and as such continues to establish itself as an industry leader.

With this in mind, CEO Talal Nasralla indicated that the chosen location of the experience centre was a strategic move, whilst looking forward to an exciting future.

He said: “Port Rashid is the natural partner for this expansion as a home port with strong international travel links and conveniently located close to Dubai International Airport.

You can also expect our expanded presence in other global locations very soon as we continue our international growth.”
