Fresh from her North Sea sea trials, ORION exceeded every benchmark, cementing Heesen’s legacy for precision engineering and performance. ORION’s sleek, contemporary exterior is the work of Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, whose signature vertical bow and sweeping lines give the yacht a distinctive presence. Her hybrid system enables silent cruising up to 10 knots, dramatically reducing fuel consumption and emissions. At 12 knots, she boasts an impressive transatlantic range of 3,750 nautical miles, consuming just 98 litres per hour. Switch to hybrid mode at 10 knots, and that figure drops to a mere 45 litres per hour. With a shallow draft of 2.15 metres, ORION is tailor-made for exploring the Bahamas’ turquoise shallows or gliding along the Mediterranean coast.
