Hill Robinson Group Relaunches Moravia Yachting

By George Bains

The Hill Robinson Group has unveiled its new-look retail charter and brokerage company, Moravia Yachting, which will expand Hill Robinson’s highly specialised mix of services to help clients to make optimal investment choices on all aspects of yacht acquisition, construction, sale and charter.

Renowned yacht management company Hill Robinson acquired the heritage brand Moravia Yachting in 2017. Moravia Yachting is one of the world’s oldest yachting brands, with a history dating back to 1863, and played a central role in the construction of the first ever superyachts. Since 1962, Moravia Yachting has been based out of the Principality of Monaco, while its services have been delivered on an ever-expanding global scale.

Hill Robinson and Moravia Yachting have a shared passion for providing high-end client services within the professional yachting services arena, and the Partners of Hill Robinson are more than optimistic about the future for both companies.

Since our acquisition we have achieved several large sales transactions and remain very busy with retail charter bookings,” said Niall Robinson. “With a great team coming together, we are excited about the future prospects of the Moravia Yachting business.”

In 2021, Hill Robinson will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, and through strategic growth in that period the company has established itself as one of the superyacht sector’s elite brands. Hill Robinson offers a broad spectrum of services which, in addition to the core yacht management service, includes aviation, charter management, corporate structuring, crew and new construction.

Moravia Yachting will bolster Hill Robinson’s retail charter and sales offering, completing the yachting lifecycle. The company’s expansion has also seen the appointment of Tim Leese as Chief Operating Officer and Kurt Fraser and the group’s new Sales and Marketing Director, adding a wealth of experience and expertise to the senior management team.

“With continued growth across the Hill Robinson Group, the time is right to press the accelerator,” said Nick Hill, Partner of Hill Robinson. “We are ready to make our presence known with a higher profile, a fresh re-brand and will continue to recruit and build the Moravia Yachting team.”
