Horizon Yachts Launches Latest Tri-Deck FD92

Taiwanese yachtbuilder, Horizon Yachts, has launched the fourth hull of its tri-deck FD92 superyacht. The superyacht will soon be delivered to her owners in Fort Lauderdale, who plan to cruise to The Bahamas to enjoy the yacht with family and friends.

Horizon Yachts’ FD Series was introduced to the market in 2016, and has since evolved along with the requirements and requests of owners. The FD92 model is the first tri-deck of the Series, designed by Cor D Rover, and has quickly become one of the Series’ most popular designs.

The fourth hull of the FD92 Series was commissioned by an experienced owner who was drawn to the yacht’s tri-deck configuration and beach club design. The five-stateroom yacht provides a sophisticated atmosphere on the water with a mid-century modern touch.

The main deck is configured in the traditional layout, featuring a large aft deck with a cozy conversation area and a Hi/Lo foldable coffee table leading through fully opening doors into a spacious main salon. The salon includes an inviting L-shaped sofa and large coffee table with ottoman storage.

The owner worked with Horizon’s in-house design team to reflect his personal style in the interior, particularly through the use of dark walnut flooring with teak wood in a satin finish as the main woods. The elegant combination complements the subtle mid-century modern style found in the furniture and finishes.

The salon is flooded with natural light through the floor-to-ceiling windows, with sliding doors to allow for a semi-al fresco dining area. Forward of the main salon area is a large dining area featuring a convertible dining table.

The master suite is located forward on the main deck, offering the owner a sophisticated space with a king-sized bed facing a his-and-hers en suite. Four additional en suite staterooms are comprised of two mirrored VIPs amidships, a convertible twin to port and a further VIP in the bow.

Guests will enjoy a variety of exterior spaces on this tri-deck superyacht, perfect for entertaining or relaxing in the sun. On the bridge deck, an aft skylounge featured a bar and Jacuzzi, while the foredeck offers an idyllic lounging area.

The launch of the latest FD92 reaffirms the quality and appeal of the FD Series, which has inspired owners with its style, layout and performance.
