Inside TYBA Yacht Charter Show 2026: Marmaris Marina

By Sophia Spanton

The 7th TYBA Yacht Charter Show lands in Marmaris from 7–11 May 2026, marking the first time the event shifts from Göcek to Muttaş Marmaris Marina on the Turkish Riviera. This year’s show is shaping up as the most concentrated snapshot yet of the Eastern Mediterranean charter market, with a significantly larger and more premium fleet than in previous editions.

For 2026, the show is set to host 49 charter yachts, more than 35 of which are over 24 metres, underscoring the event’s growing appeal for larger-motor and blue‑water units. The move to Marmaris also brings a bigger marina footprint and a more compact, easily walkable layout, which should streamline broker viewings and speed up professional inspections.

The 2026 lineup leans heavily on 24 to 40 metre motor yachts, with a notable increase in high‑end gulets and several performance sailing and catamaran options aimed squarely at the summer Turkish and Aegean charter season. Known attendees include vessels such as the 35m M/S OĞUZ BEY and a spread of Turkish‑built gulets and refit motor yachts that reflect the region’s growing ambition to attract premium short‑term charters.

Running from Thursday 7 May to Monday 11 May, the show opens at 9.30am each day with yacht inspections and broker meetings, followed by relaxed Yacht Hop evening events on 7 and 8 May where the focus is on meeting crews and agents in a more social setting. The event remains strictly trade‑only, with access limited to accredited brokers, captains, managers, and invited industry professionals, so the atmosphere is geared firmly towards business.

This year’s edition arrives with a clearer sense of Eastern Med: the show is leaning into the Turkish Riviera as a destination, rather than as a satellite to Monaco or MYBA‑style extravagance. With the clock ticking down to the Mediterranean season, brokers attending TYBA 2026 will be evaluating not just layouts and crew, but also summer‑season positioning, refit status, and pricing strategies for the Turkish coastline and nearby Greek islands.
